Plan Ahead: NASCAR Hauler Parade May Impact School Pick-Up & Commutes Today

The NASCAR Hauler Parade (for the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway this weekend) is coming through Collinsville this afternoon, Friday, September 11th.

The event could impact some buses, your commute to and from school to pick up your child, and your drive home.  Please note the route and times - and above all...be patient!

The trucks will be passing through Collinsville from approximately 3-4 p.m. They will head north on Highway 159 all the way from Fairview Heights to the intersection of 159 & Beltline Road, where they will make a left onto Beltline. The haulers will follow Beltline all the way down to the intersection of Beltline & Highway 157, where they'll make a left onto 157 before they make a right onto the ramp for I-55, which they'll stay on until they exit for WWTR.

While the City of Collinsville is striving for minimal interruptions to traffic, there will be brief delays along the route. Please plan accordingly.
